Anyone applying to RFU's CRNA program for May 2025 start? Applications open today in NursingCAS. I don't see the application yet so I plan to check again later in the day.

I mean it is possible. My coworker got off rfu waitlist like 1-2 months before the cohort started. But the waitlist has LOTS of people, so odds would suggest a very slim amount of people would make it off if any. So just gotta hope you are the lucky person.

That's good to know. I wonder how many ppl waitlisted this cycle. It'd be nice if they could expand the cohort size a little more every year. The applicant pools sure get larger as they go.

From the few program openhouses I have attended the problem w cohort expansion is clinical spots. Accommodating clinical opportunity for many students is a challenge. RFU growth is from colorado opening, they expanded to 10 spots this year. So if you have CO interest those spots should continue to increase at rfu as partnership continues to develop with the health systems/facility out there.

No idea. I know including myself, three people from my unit at my hospital alone are on the list. In the forums quite a large number responded being on it, I did not count but I feel like eyeballing it at least 20 of us responded.
 

Sadly I would assume the list is quite large.

Hi everyone. I am also waitlisted. I was going to do a virtual information session, and they sent me a link to an in-person one. When I called and ask what term if I choose she said Summer 2026. ( I cried inside) haha should I even go to the in-person one? like are they testing me if I really want this? A lot of things went through my mind for sure. What do you guys think? One of my friend told me to do both.
