Members are discussing their experiences with being waitlisted and accepted into a nursing program, specifically focusing on the timing of notifications and the process of being waitlisted. Some members have received acceptance letters after being waitlisted, while others are still waiting for updates. There is also discussion about improving applications for reapplying and increasing science GPA for future applications.
Anyone applying to RFU's CRNA program for May 2025 start? Applications open today in NursingCAS. I don't see the application yet so I plan to check again later in the day.
nurse567 said:Hi everyone! Congrats to everyone who has gotten in - so exciting! I have the information session next week. I hear it is a chance to ask questions. Were you asked any questions 1:1 or was it strictly a group setting? Any insight would be so appreciated. Wishing you all the best.
Hi! Thank you! It was strictly a group setting. It's for the applicants to ask questions. I was definitely nervous at first but everybody was so nice. They make you feel at ease and comfortable. Just be yourself! Good luck!
Submitted! I know I'm super late in the application period to do so, and it's very likely that I will get rejected, but something about submitting makes me feel so grateful that at least I'm pushing my career in the direction I want to go.Â
Does anyone know if admissions offers counseling/application review if you get rejected?Â
nurse567 said:I have the info session tomorrow. I received confirmation for the session; however, I have not seen a link anywhere. Do you know when they send this link out or where it can be found? Thank you for the help. Best of luck everyone!
I have the info session tomorrow too! I got a total of two emails last week and one of the emails contains the zoom link. watch out of that second email.
