Anyone applying to RFU's CRNA program for May 2025 start? Applications open today in NursingCAS. I don't see the application yet so I plan to check again later in the day.

Nope! Have not heard anything and it's driving me crazy.

Same here, I'm trying to stay calm and tell myself what is meant to be will be. But I'm still acting like a crazy checking my email hourly 😅

Specializes in Neuro ICU, MICU/SICU.

Is this anybody's first time applying?

As a current student I want to say good luck to everyone! RFU is such an amazing school. The faculty is supportive and wants all of us to succeed, I couldn't have imagined the program would be as supportive as it is. We have all heard horror stories about toxic programs but this one is far from it.  I remember what it was like applying and interviewing- just relax and be yourself. You got this!! 🙂

Thank you!!

Same. I'm losing it 😂

Yeah it's been a little over a week for me since I was confirmed! Trying to be patient but the waiting just sucks in general. Keep checking spam too- someone said the email went there before

Same. I was confirmed on 8/20

Yes! My first time.

The waiting game was the worst! My time of application to acceptance was a 3 month process. I was already pretty disheartened after getting multiple rejections from other schools. There's a light at the end of the tunnel!

This is so good to hear. Trying to be patient.

Check your emails; Just got an email that my application is on hold

sucks. Really don't know how else to take it other than a denial.

Still nothing on my end. Starting to get nervous now.

What are y'all stats those getting a hold ?

I have my MSN 4.0 GPA, ~2 years CTICU experience, preceptor, CCRN, on committees, ACLS/PALS/BLS

Wow. These are great stats. I wonder if it has anything to do with how we responded to questions, or maybe even references? How was your undergrad GPA?

I think the essay responses play a big part of getting in the door. In the grand scheme of the application process we all are so similar in stats. All higher end GPA, ccrn, good ICU experience, good references. How you respond is the way you set yourself apart from the group in showing who you are.
