Let's watch this Rosalind Franklin University application process together!
Notes: the app went live August 11th 2022 and it's a rolling application so get your stuff in asap. I went to the info session and it sounds like virtual interviews are being held between October and February and the invites for those start being sent out in early September. Offer letters started coming out last year in November.
Post if you find out anything to share! Good luck to us all!

I can’t say for others, but I would say, ‘Be yourself, be confident, be ready to answer different questions (might get a curveball).’
I started preparing before I got invite to interview. I prepared with series of Mock Interviews. I think it kinda built my confidence.

I don’t think they fill all the slots. I learned they interview about 10 applicants each session, admit few, and leave many slots open for upcoming sessions. Stay optimistic! Wishing you Goodluck!

I don’t mind sharing my stat. My major stat includes;
Science GPA 4.0, BSc 3.9, MSN 4.0
2X Valedictorian
CCRN & CMC Certified, got my ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
CVICU/CCFloat/MICU experience; 1.5 years
80 hours of Shadow Experience
2 Research Projects
ICU Leadership (Charge, Preceptor, RR etc)
Ultrasound-guided Vascular Access skills
…but I can’t share in-depth info about the interview (NDA). My two cents would be on utilizing the information provided on the website about the interview. Check images below.
My stats:
GPA: 3.55 Science GPA: 3.7
ACLS, BLS, PALS, CCEN, certified sedation registered Nurse cert, Sigma theta tau honor society
2 research projects
1 publication
volunteering outside of work as a hobby
20 hours shadow experience
A LOT of leadership experience both in college and on my units, I was very involved on my college campus which I believe made me stand out but it also explained why I wasn’t a 4.0 student
international volunteer opportunities
CICU and travel float ICU; 3 years total experience
My advice: definitely do your research on the university but I agree with the others above, show your personality, ask a lot of good questions (not ones that can be answered by a Google search)
I had a 3.3 science, 2 years ICU, CCRN certified, no research experience. A little leadership- precepting. I did have some volunteer hours. I truly believe it’s all about showing your personality and selling yourself. I wouldn’t get too discouraged if your not the perfect candidate or don’t have a 4.0! I didn't have a 4.0 or research and I was accepted.
