CONGRATS! How long did it take you to get your blue card? I started my process like 2 weeks after the email was sent. I need to check my mail more often lol. I'm so excited! I am glad to finally see someone on here going to the same school! It really felt real once was registered in the classes that we will be taking. Do you live in the Bryan/ college station area? If so do you have recommendations on apartments? I will be out there tomorrow on the hunt!
Sorry for asking a million and one questions lol

Congrats on getting accepted into the nursing program. I will start my 4th semester of Nursing School at Blinn this fall. I will be there at your orientation, please let me know if you have any questions.
I took it already. I finished all of my pre req classes b/c I applied to BSN as well as ADN programs. Will you be in the fall program?
Aww thanks! I'm so excited! I know it's hard work, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'm most nervous about patho and pharm. any tips?
I didn't have to take patho (your class is actually the first class taking it) but we did do patho maps bad part of our preclinical paperwork. I used a book called "Atlas of Pathophysiology"
Pharmacology oh my you had to ask. The required textbook is pretty good. The best think that I can say is learn the drug classification and what their actions are. I actually just pulled out my pharm book because I plan to make 5x7 cards to use for clinical. Please let me knowing there is anything more that I can possibly help you with. Are you local to the area?

No I'm from sugar land texas about 1hr45min away. I have been to the Bryan/college station area 2 times now to go apt hunting and I found my place YAY! I will be moving there mid aug. I bought a pharm book at half price books to kind of read through but I highly doubt I will finish before school lol in your class did you form study groups and stuff like that? Also has anyone dropped out of the program. I always wondered if the programs end with the same amount that started.
That's good that you got a pharm book. Yes we have had students drop and be added to my specific class. People have left for numerous reasons: pregnancy, moving, didn't want to do nursing anymore. Added: transfer from other schools, students who have to repeat certain classes and those that decide to change their hrs from the traditional course. Also during your 4th semester more students are added because the LVNs (LVN to RN) come in at that time.
I'm applying for the spring program and A&P 2 is the only class out of all the pre-reqs and co-reqs I need to take. I know you can take it during your first semester but it puts the total hours at 18:(
