I havent found any threads on the Spring 2012 Nursing program, soo i figured id start one! I have already recieved an Email saying everything has been recieved, just waiting on my letter to see if I was accepted! Does anyone know when theyll be sent out? Has anyone recieved that email yet? :redpinkhe

Hi Simmola, Believe it or not ... When I submitted my app in May they didn't cash my check until August!!! Lol so they are a little slow with that...

Simmola: have you check your web advisor? If you have the nursing program loaded I don't think there is nothing to worry about. It might take a while for them to cash those checks.

I went yesterday to Uniform City to see if they had any specials, but NO LUCK.... Nothing on sale. Have you guys decided on shoes yet? I know they have to be white, but I'm wondering if we can wear nursing shoes or it has to be tennis shoes.

Hi Bital... U can wear nursing shoes as Long as they are white... They have the Landau on sale at allheart.com and they are so comfortable... I've heard nurse mates were comfortable as well

I hope it's tennis shoes because I CANNOT afford nursing shoes! ESPECIALLY if I have to quit my job and live off of noodles for two years. Something has gotta give.

B-when I checked webadvisor my nursing stuff was loaded...idk what's taking so long.

Books and uniform have to wait...funds need to be rationed!

Hey Simmola, the Landau that is online at allheart.com is only 24.98 on sale and they gave some nurse mates for 38.98.. Some Avia, Nikes, and sketchers and they wanted much more than the above listed prices... So, being that you are quiting your job like me this may be a cheaper alternative... hope that helps.. I have ordered my white ones (because I already had a black pair) and they should be here soon... I will let you know when I get them but they are very comfortable... don't sleep on them lol:nono:

LMBO!!! I get that all the time!! Just keeping it real!! LOL I have nothing to do today so I'm going to go to the Mall to try on scrubs and maybe get a couple just depends on if they are too over priced... If they are I am ordering them online.. They really need to stop charging so much money for these scrubs because they are paper thin and don't take that much to make.... I tell you if I had time to make mine I would... It may come out to have different shapes and uneven but I will be in uniform LMBO!!!!:monkeydance:

Let's go to uniform city!!! I went to life uniform at university mall and they must be on dat junk bc I paid 35.00 for 1 uniform and guess what? It's going back!!!! I didnt want da lady to feel bad Simmola but tomorrow its going back LMBO!!! That is insane!!! I want to go to uniform city... Let me know if u still want to go
