Rogue Community College ADN Program

Hello everyone! 
I am currently in the process of applying to nursing schools in Oregon (the OCNE schools specifically) and I am very interested in Rogue Community Colleges nursing program in Medford. I have seen that their NCELX scores are really good and their new health science building at table rock campus but that’s about all that I know about it. If anyone has been there or knows anything about the program please let me know! I’d also be curious to see what my chances were of getting in.

Then based on points you’ll be ahead of me going into essays. My GPA is 3.8 but you get all 25 points for anything over 3.6 something. I have the work experience as a CNA, all the volunteer hours experience, all pre reqs, upper division, & electives done. Bachelor degree in June. OHSU is interested in diversity, however, I know people who got in who were lesser qualified but knew the interviewer ?

That’s upsetting for sure. Based on the other thread for OHSU it sounded like a lot of applicants who didn’t get in to the Accelerated program then applied to the 3yr BSN and got in to that one. That leaves less spots for those of us who don’t have a degree yet, I’ll have an associates after Summer term so hopefully that helps next year if I don't get in. Did you end up on moderately or highly likely alt list? my friend was highly likely on the alt list and ended up getting an acceptance letter July last year! So there could still be a very good chance for you. I’m really hoping to get in to the RCC program this year but we’ll see. I don't know any other applicants for RCC or their stats so it’s hard to know where I stand.

Hi, I applied to rogue but I live in Portland so I do not get the living in the area points, are you guys who are applying to rogue in the area?

I also applied to OHSU and have made it as an alternate as moderately likely

Yes, I live in Medford. Also an Alternate for OHSU
