RODP Nursing Degree

Published

Has everyone heard about the exciting news! Starting Fall 2008, there will be a new ASN program on the RODP. I don't have a lot of info as to how it will exactly work, but it is a great day for all of us waiting to get into a program! If I don't get accepted into a traditional program, this will be a great option.;)

Is that REGENTS program? I might check that out. I see there is an Anatomy I there and some Phys classes. I am going by Pellissippi tonight to see. I am tired of the run around with the different schools around here.

Has anyone been accepted into this program for fall 08? Has it been accredited? I would love to do something like this.... just would also love some info from someone with first-hand experience!:heartbeat

It's through RODP, which is consortium of several schools in TN, which are all accredited. If it's like the other RODP programs, which I'm sure it is, you pick a "home" school and that school is who you will actually receive your degree from.

As for the first hand experience, since the program hasn't even started yet, I don't think anyone will have any experience with it yet!

i AM taking A & P I thru RODP and I love it, and I love the teacher. We are almost done with it and it is a little harder, becasue you cannot procrastinate, but it is soo much easier when you work full time

This is the program that I'm looking into. I don't know if I'll get in this fall since I don't have any certifications yet. I am enrolling in the new RODP/ROCE CNA program, then I hope to be able to get into the AASN program this fall. I may be wishful thinking but it doesn't hurt to be optimistic.

Good luck to all of you!!!
