Rockland Community College nursing Spring 2025

Published

Hello, everyone. If you are planning to apply to the nursing program at RCC for the Spring semester of 2025, I would appreciate it if you could share the TEAS score you are applying within the comments section below.

As for myself, I am applying for the Spring 2025 semester with an 82.7% TEAS score. I'm curious to know if you all think this score is competitive enough for the program. Any insights or advice would be greatly helpful. Thank you!

for anyone that has transcripts from previous colleges when checking the nursing application checklist is it checked off as received? or is your math and english placement checked off?

Mine says it is not complete but when I emailed admissions, they said it's waited since I have a college degree. It may be the same case for you. I would email admissions.

Question! For the deadline, do we need to have in our transcripts from high school and college as well? Also, is anyone able to tell me if their TEAS scores were immediately uploaded to their application portal, or did it take some time?

I'm not sure if official transcripts are needed prior to the deadline, but I submitted all of my official transcripts including HS anyway just to be safe.  And for the TEAS, I took the exam last Monday and requested ATI to send over my score that day.  It is currently Wednesday night and it still says they do not have my score in on the portal, however, ATI says the school should receive it about 2 hours after the request.  I decided to email nursing admissions this morning to see if I am missing anything because I really do not know since the application portal doesn't update too often if at all for me.  They haven't gotten back to me yet.

Thank you! I called and was told that the application was complete and they see everything in the portal.

Hey guys! I just finished my second attempt at the TEAS and got an 87.3%. Does anyone know how long it takes for the score report to be received by the school?

Congratulations on your score! It should post almost immediately or by Monday, latest Tuesday since it's Friday!

Wait- I don't have a math and English placement thing even listed on the nursing checklist. I only have the TEAS report thing! Do you think that's an issue? I've called the school like 300 times already LOL. I spoke to registrar and they said they had my two college transcripts, but it wasn't reflected onto my account yet. This is so stressful!

In the application portal, when you click on nursing next steps, it shows you what is required to be considered for the program.  TEAS Score for ATI, College Transcripts, Placement in English and Math. Mine is not checked out but when I called, they confirmed that they have everything that was required, and my application was complete.

I would suggest you create a log in for their school email because it was there initially that I received confirmation that my transcripts were received and was evaluated I just confirmed by phone. You can also check the transcript with the school to see which credits would be transferred over if any.

I took the TEAS in 2022 and got a 78 and did not get in. In the meantime, I became an LPN and applied to the Spring 2025 semester and got a 68 on the TEAS🤦🏽‍♀️ I can't retake it because its been less than 14 days and now im worrieddd LOL. Im wondering if LPN decisions are the same as regular admissions

I recently had a conversation with an LPN at RCC, and she mentioned that some people in her LPN program class have been accepted into RCC's nursing program with TEAS scores in the 70s for fall 2024. I applied with a score of 78 but wasn't accepted. It seems that LPNs are given more priority when it comes to the nursing program and are admitted even with lower scores.

The official countback has begun! 4 weeks from today or even sooner, we will know

Ahhhh! I can't wait! Wishing us luck

hi, I applied for Spring 2025 as well! I received a 75.3% which isn't the best, but I heard that there are around 80-100 spots (don't quote me-it's based off of clinical spot availability). I also have a 3.6 GPA and finished pre reqs, but I don't think they'll pay attention to that detail LOL
