Rockland Community College nursing Spring 2025

Published

Hello, everyone. If you are planning to apply to the nursing program at RCC for the Spring semester of 2025, I would appreciate it if you could share the TEAS score you are applying within the comments section below.

As for myself, I am applying for the Spring 2025 semester with an 82.7% TEAS score. I'm curious to know if you all think this score is competitive enough for the program. Any insights or advice would be greatly helpful. Thank you!

Hey! I am in the process of applying to the Spring 2025 semester as well.  I have not taken the TEAS exam yet, but I will hopefully next week and I will lyk.  An 82.7 is good!

I just took the TEAS exam today and got a 71%.  Not confident in that score but we shall see in a couple weeks if they accept it.  Good luck everyone!

Hi all.

I took the TEAS and got a 73.3%. I don't think it will be enough to get in but I'm hopeful.🤞

Does anyone know of people who got in with similar scores?

Hey, I literally scored the same thing! I have heard of people getting in with a 71%, but I think it all depends on the cohort and what everyone else is scoring. I'm taking the test again on Friday to try to improve my grade.

I've read a few allnurses posts and I've seen some people have gotten into the Spring program with that score! Good luck on the exam - you got this!

Hey, congratulations on your score! Last semester, I couldn't get in with 78%, which was really disappointing. I think you should try again or maybe consider applying to other colleges to increase your chances of getting in.

I cant retake it with enough time because the retake wait period is 14 days and the deadline is next week. This was my retake. I scored EXACTLY the same as last time. So annoying. Are you reapplying with your 78%? I hear Spring semester has lower TEAS scores. It's more competitive in the fall. Did you apply to other programs?

No. 78 was my third attempt, LOL! I'm applying for Spring 2025 with an 82.7 (4th attempt). I heard that Spring has lower TEAS scores, but somehow it doesn't make sense to me because people have plenty of time in the Summer to prepare. So maybe the scores are higher, but there are fewer applications. And yes, I'm also applying to other schools like Mercy, Dominican, etc.

OMG LOL that's an awesome jump! Gives me hope that I can get a higher grade for next semester if I don't get in for this one. Good luck! Lmk which programs you get into. I agree. IDK how it's less competitive but hopefully it gives us a better chance of getting in!! I'm sure you will get in this semester

Question! For the deadline, do we need to have in our transcripts from high school and college as well? Also, is anyone able to tell me if their TEAS scores were immediately uploaded to their application portal, or did it take some time?

I believe you should at least have your high school transcript submitted prior to the deadline for consideration of admission to the Nursing Program - you'll need to place in English 101  and Math 100 or 10110 for consideration. And for the TEAS score, mine was uploaded to the application portal within two days of sending the transcript.

Admissions told me as long as the college transcript is a complete transcript, you don't need to submit the high-school diploma. If you email admissions they will verify if there is anything needed on your account to complete the application.

for anyone that has transcripts from previous colleges when checking the nursing application checklist is it checked off as received? or is your math and english placement checked off?
