Rockland Boces 2011 LPN program

Has anyone been accepted in the the Rockland Boces 2011 LPN course yet? I am still waiting for my letter! :clown:

i have been accepted and will attend in 2011 but wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions before the program starts considering i didn't take any nursing courses while in college? i will definitely try to start reviewing before the class starts though

thats what Im doing. I just started reading the fundamentals book to get a jump start! I have been told that this program is hella hard. That people are dropping like flies! I am hoping that the head start with the reading will help me to not want to leave either...lol As long as your ready to do the work youll be fine Im sure. The college nursing courses are tricky but this should be some what easier. However remember they are teaching a ton of info in just one year so the work load is going to be alot! Good Luck

Is that the textbook of basic nursing book? I believe the book info is on the website including 3 books, right? Do you order them from the website with the discount that she posted or did you find them in a bookstore? i want to start reading as well

I found the books on amazon. I found them to be better. I have just the 2 for now and have to get the other one. Good luck...most likely see you there.

I did the lpn from rock land boces this year. I passed my nclex yesterday. If you need any books or help just write it here. I live in stony point
