Rockland Boces LPN Program

Got my acceptance letter for Fall 2010 today. Not sure if I will attend, it all depends on how my other applications go. Anyone else receive a letter, or testing for this program?

Hiii I guess we will be classmates! I just received my acceptance letter. I'm so excited. I also had my interview for Putnam Northern Westchester today but that was a second choice so I know where I'm going. That was the longest two weeks ever!

Hi guys! I'm in need of some help. I have my test next Thursday for Southern Westchester Boces and I'm getting more and more nervous the closer the day comes. Has anyone took this test? Can you tell me what I can expect? And also what are the acceptable scores needed in order to get into the program? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm sure the SW Boces exam is similar to all the other Boces exams. I can't remember the exact cut off for the English (might be 70? I could be so wrong) or Math scores, but I do know if you don't meet the minimum score on the first part of the test it doesn't even let you take the second part. Don't stress it, I didn't think the test was too difficult.

Hey guys,

I'm new in here. i'm interested in Rockland Boces Lpn program. I took the entrance test last april and i failed. English is my weakness. I'm about to take the test again. I'm so scared, i don't want to fail again. Please could you help me with any tips or informations

I don't know what the next exam is going to be like but as far as advice from the exam I took... Focus on your English, Reading Comprehension and Math. Being solid in these areas will defiantly help. It wouldn't hurt to practice a little science... Even if it may not be on the test, it will be a major aspect of the program. Good Luck from a hopeful future LPN Grad!

Hello! I'm interested in applying ..can anyone pls share if the math section involves algebra or just basic mathematics . And also did you bring a copy of your hs diploma or you need to bring a transcript copy ?
