I am pursuing a new career avenue and want to find other nurses who do cosmetic injections - botox, dermafillers, etc. Are you working with physicians, or in a day spa environment? What education did you receive for this speciality? I have lots of questions - so please contact me!!

Hi, I am an LPN in the State of Georgia and have been doing research on the exact same thing, You have to take a certification course, and from what I understand, there must be a MD on premises for you to legally administer Botox, Restylane etc... The cost can be around 1600- 1800 usd, but I think it is totally worth it. Most of the time what I hear is that you would work in a Medical facility specializing in such practices. Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists..etc.. Like Nurses that are certified, it makes them more money, as they are able to work more efficiently with someone else doing the work..Good Luck!!!
