Members are discussing the delay in receiving their RNC-NIC exam results, with some mentioning that they used to get immediate results but now have to wait up to 15 business days. Some members speculate that this change may be due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Others share their experiences of waiting for their results and offer tips on how to check for updates on the NCC website. Overall, members express frustration and anxiety about the waiting period but also share relief and excitement upon passing the exam.
I thought that you were supposed to get unofficial results right after the test? I know that's what happened when I took RNC-NIC in 2011 and my NNP boards (same company) in 2014. One of the nurses I work with also recently took the low risk RNC a few months ago and found out immediately too. It's actually kind of awkward because you finish the test and then you tell the front desk person who then prints out the result to hand it to you, so not anonymous. I'm told they're not supposed tell you or give you a reaction but I remember being so nervous and watching the lady walk the 50 miles towards me with my head down and her saying, "oh you passed, don't worry." LOL!!

This just happened To me this morning and I thought it was a fluke because other nurses I work with took it recently within the last 2-3 months and they received their results right away.
I think Coronavirus has changed how NCC is doing things. They used to give out results right away, but aren't anymore (at least for right now). I took my NNP certification exam through NCC on a Saturday in June and found out a few days later on Wednesday. I didn't get an email from them for a few days after that, though. I just went on the NCC website Wednesday morning and saw that I passed. Several of my classmates also found out they passed the same day even though we took the test on different days, so I think NCC updates their website on Wednesdays. So, just keep checking the website and hopefully you'll find out soon!

I did have to wait 14 business days to see my result within the NCC website! I kept checking on the my account area and where is says you were approved for testing once your results are posted it will update there! Hopefully the helps!
