Hello all, thank you for stopping by to peek at my post.
Has anyone gone through or is currently enrolled in Chamberlain's ONLINE RN to BSN program? A little background: I am a new grad (ADN) and just received my RN License. I have been working as a LVN and since we're still in a pandemic, I thought this would be a great opportunity to continue my education. I may transition to a RN role in the future within my current department at work.
I realize transitioning as a new RN and a new job can be overwhelming on its own. However, that's the reason I chose this program because I hear that it is less rigorous in comparison to other RN-BSN programs.
If anyone has anything to say about this program, pros/cons, tips, how the program and instructors are, how to save on money and tuition, advisor preference, how many classes are recommended to take at a time, anything, it would be greatly appreciated!
Also, just wondering, does anyone know if Jazz appreciation would cont as a humanities class or elective? Please and Thanks in advance!

Yeah my goal is to be done before December 2021 and I think my projected end date is October 2021. So it would be nice to finish sooner. That's awesome youre doing the MSN program too. I'm not sure if you can. I'm looking at enrolling in a masters program elsewhere.
Just now, Nurse Dom said:That’s sounds great! How many classes do you still have to take for BSN?
Why are you thinking to enroll somewhere else for MSN? Just curious ? thanks
I hoping to only need 10 classes. I am waiting to submit my last transcript and I have one class on there that they most likely said would transfer. 10 or 11 being the max.
I think I would rather do an MSN program that is more local to me, especially if it require clinical hours, etc. I have state schools by me that do masters program and are probably cheaper. I'm doing chamberlain for the BSN for the flexibility and the fact that you can finish in 10-12 months which isn't realistic for schools around my area.

I'm hoping to start in January 2021 as well! Pending I pass my NCLEX, it's scheduled for Dec 30th. I hope to have my transcripts reviewed here shortly to see how many classes I truly need. It would be nice if we could complete the program together!

Hi Miguel,
were you able to start January 2021?

My coworker also mentioned how much she enjoys Chamberlain and she's about to finish also, she just applied for graduation. I'm looking to start October 2020. The admission advisor is in the process of completing my evaluation to see how many classes I need to take.
Stef,
I'm looking at going back for my BSN online. I've been "warned" about online programs using the pass/fail grading system. If I wanted to go for my MSN, these credits may not transfer. Have you heard anything about the GPA scale and these issues?

I'm taking two this session. They told me if I felt that I could handle another class to make it three for the March session that I could do full time.
