Nursing Students NP Students

I am an RN student, working on my associate's degree and I plan on starting my BSN while working after graduation. Eventually I would like to become a NP, specializing in preventative care using nutrition, exercise and herbal remedies. Are there any NP's out there in that field with any advice for me?

Specializes in Going to Peds!.

Anybody who gets accepted to medical school, graduates, makes it through residency gets my respect. I meant nothing negative towards osteopaths. OMM is very interesting IMO.

Then I just misinterpreted. Sometimes it's hard to interpret "tone" in print.

No worries. :) Internet can be deceiving!

I know this post is from a while ago but I'm so glad you asked this question! I'm currently a nursing student and am very interested in functional medicine.... must not sure which route to go! Lol my head is spinning with the different options. Holistic nurse, intergrative nurse practitioner, DO, and ND (( Which are both dr's not nurses i know lol))! But I'm very passionate about nutrition and healing the mind and body naturally through lifestyle changes. Just not sure which route to take... :/
