hello. im a new grad RN in med-surg. i was wondering whe does a RN take CE (countinuing education)? Where do I find the resources? Do I take the course as a class, online or are their other ways to take the course?

You start right away...make continuing education part of your ongoing practice. There are webinars, seminars, online courses, and college courses. If you subscribe to a nursing publication you will likely find CEU opportunities there. If you join a nursing community or association you will have CE opportunities through them. Your place of employment may offer CEU activities periodically. If you are interested in lifelong learning CEU requirements will not be problematic for you. Good luck.
