Hello!I have been torn for years on whether to become a sonographer or an RN (2 completely different careers, I know). I have finally made up my mind and will be starting an ADN program in the fall. Recently I was informed that there is a school where I am that has a sonography program offered to radiographers and RNs.
So, out of curiosity, what might the marketability be like for and RN who is also certified in sonography? I think sonography is so interesting, but I also think that nursing is what I'm meant to do. Who would hire someone with both credentials? Would the extra sonography training be a waste of time if I want to continue nursing afterward?
Thanks!:roll
Bringing this thread back to life, wondering if some more input could be added.
Thanks
