University of california santa barbara is located there, just check out the union contract. I believe it's like mid 30's

Uc Santa Barbara doesn't have a hospital associated with it as there is no med school there. I think low 40s is starting for the area.

According to the cna contract of the UC system new grads in 2017 in Santa Barbara start at 29.33 which is Pathetic. I guess its the student clinic at UCSB not a hospital. Similar to Berkley, I guess.

Hi, a little late here but right now the starting pay for new grad students at Cottage Hospital is $40. I have a few classmates who were hired there.
