Can anyone please advise what the RN Prereqs are and how long it takes to complete them. All I have is HS which was many many moons ago! Thanks I am in NJ if that helps.

Hello-
The pre-reqs depend on the program. Do you have any programs in mind? If so, I would contact them to find out what they require. It would be miserable if you took a course you thought was a pre-req, but ended up not being accepted.
For my program, I was required to have: Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Microbiology, Biochem, basic college English, a math class, and I feel like there may have been a few others.

Every schools nursing program is different. Mine required Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Microbiology, College Algebra, Psychology, Human Growth and Development, English I, Sociology and Humanities. Most of them require a lot of the same one but of few of the classes vary. Its taken me 2 years to do mine, but I worked part time and married w/2 kids so it took a little longer for me. Find a school in your area and talk to a guidance counselor! Good luck on your journey!
