RN Pre-Entrance Exam...help

Published

I have to take the Pre-Entrance Exam in August for RN. I have taken it once before hoping to get into this Falls class, but due to changes that the school made (and just having a baby), I didn't realize they had changed the cutoff and was forced to take it the next day! I got a 71% overall without any studying, but was disappointed.

Can anyone give me any pointers on taking this test? I felt that the language part was riducles...a lot of it I guessed on...who in their right mind would know what a lot of that meant (I didn't)? I had a hard time with science...not sure if you have any suggestions on how exactly I should prepare for this. If there is anything I can buy (I already have two books to study from...one directly from NLN) Any help would be appreciated!

TIA!!

Do you know which test you have to take? Most of the nursing programs in our area use either the TEAS or the NET.

Study guides are available (and helpful) for each of these tests and can be purchased online. There are also websites such as www.testpreview.com which can be of help.

I'm not sure what it is. I'll have to see if I can find out what it is. Thanks...I'll check out that link!
