Hello everyone! I am Azumi and I am a newbie here.

I am RN in the Philippines (batch 2010) military spouse and currently living here in Japan. I would like to ask some very good advice from anyone here PLEASE:arghh:.. I really don't know what to do. I want to take my California license, Is it true that I need to have 1 year of schooling there before I could take my NCLEX-RN/LVN exam? Is it possible to start doing that schooling here in Japan? what are the process? please help.. some people are discouraging me to take NCLEX in California because it's gonna be very hard. But I have no choice because were gonna be moving July next year and probably staying there for good. I need to know asap if I can start the schooling here in Japan.

Thank you so much in advance for the advises. Very much appreciated.

It can really be very frustrating. But hey, our case is not the worst. I have read one of the threads about being out of nursing for decade but managed to pass the NCLEX-RN. Lets start gathering requirements and stay motivated.

I am currently working as a Community Support Worker for clients with mental disability in a home setting.

Oh really? That's very inspiring. Well then lets start gathering information and needed requirements. And yes you are are right, we need to stay motivated. Thank you!

Best of luck to us!

Hi there!

I'm an RN in the PH too. got denied for NCLEX RN here in California but got the ok for NCLEX LVN/PN.

Took the exam last August 19 and passed. No problem in taking the LVN/PN exam.

Goodluck in getting your license. ^^,

When you apply for NCLEX LVN, were you in California?

Btw, i checked NCLEX LVN requirements for California and it's quite confusing. Which method did you use? And did you actually submitted an employment verification?

Hello! Congratulations!

How was the process? Did you attend school for some insufficient subjects?

What are your good advice when it comes to registration and all?

How many months did you wait for your application to take the LPN exam?

Hello! How are you Kristee.. Were you able to take the NCLEX? I still haven't done it yet. If you did, how was the process?
