RN NY

Hi Sexy to whoever is reading this. Don't forget to Smile.

I am a female BSN-RN in the Philippines and i recently came here in US (Chicago) first with my visiting visa then now i switch it to F1 (Student Visa) and currently enrolled in ESL for TOEFL Preparation and test taking and I also want to take the NCLEX exam. since i really didnt have anybody to ask to look for help i did scout some information in google. And find NY Board of Nursing Requirement a little easy and they also give temporary permit to practice since i do not have an SSN. (thats still if ever in God's will I will passed and pull through everything). So now what I did was i registered my self to CGFNS to have them review my credentials (CVS for NY). Did i do the right thing or if anyone could help me or assist me on this please? like what should i do? but i did get a reply already from CGFNS that my credentials are now ready for processing. And also if anyone could recommend a good NCLEX review school or class a real sit in or classroom review not just online. I will be so glad to hear all options and opinions.

thanks NURSES :)

Which state do you plan on working in? If IL then doing CVS will not help you as IL requires CES from CGFNS or ERES both are transcript breakdowns

Hi Silverdragon102, i plan to work at NY since ihave made CVS-NY.

OK, F1 will make it difficult to wok as a RN in the US. Generally F1 has to show enough funds for the first year but also once you get EAD you generally are restricted in the first year to where you can work. Just be aware it may be difficult
