U.S.A. Oklahoma

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum. I have a couple questions regarding salaries for ICU nurses in Tulsa. Before my questions, let me provide a brief professional background: I have over 3 years of nursing experience working at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC., of which one year is ICU. I have an upcoming interview at rse at St. Johns Medical Center. Now, For the questions: 1. What kind of salary (hourly/yearly) should I expect working in the ICU in Tulsa? Intellectually, I know it will be no match to DC salaries, as the cost of living is much less in Tulsa. Question 2. How does St. Johns Medical Center compare to St. Francis, or other similar hospitals in Tulsa in regards to work environments, staffing, politics. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance! Cheers!

With three years of experience, you can expect to be paid in the low-to-mid $20s per hour at most Tulsa hospitals. Sorry, but Oklahoma healthcare facilities are relatively low-paying due to the lower cost of living.

Not so sure about pay, but I know a few nurses at St Francis and they all love it there...Good luck :-)
