Hi, I just sent my application in and I'm waiting to get the fingerprint cards. I'm planning on moving to metro Seattle in a few weeks. Has anyone done this is the last year or two? I'm wondering how long it took to get your temporary license. Did your Nursys verification from your original state where you passed your board also satisfy the educational requirements or did you have to get your school to send transcripts? Thanks moving from Georgia to Seattle will be fun once I get through the paperwork and find a job.

Hello, I am graduating with my BSN next week in Wisconsin. I'm looking for jobs in WA as well as that is where my boyfriends company is for work. I called the WA state licensing board to ask how long the endorsement process would be. They told me that once I passes NCLEX, I should fill out the endorsement paperwork right away and send it in. Once it has been processed they would send me fingerprinting information/kit. When I asked how long it would take from the day I first sent paperwork in until I would receive a temporary license and she told me 6 WEEKS. Not sure if this is helpful. But best of luck!

Hello! I just received my Washington Temporary license!! It was issued on May 6th. I applied about 3-4 weeks ago. Received my finger print cards around April 30th. Then they sent off my temporary license on May 6th. I would say about 3 weeks to get your temp license. Good luck!!!

I began my process back in early November (2017) and got my license December - and I'm from California so I had to go through additional steps...
