You must go through cvs and do the 2 online courses as per NY BON website
thank you for the reply, you know i already have done cvs with CGFNS while registering with the state of vermont and the CGFNS have maintained my credential report online for which i paid , so do i need to go through CVS once again with CGFNS( which takes 6 -8 months) or the CGFNS can provide a credential evaluation report to new york BON ( which will be easier and fast ). Please let me know. Thak you
Cvs is different to CES but CGFNS should be able to reuse documents already received.
Thank you for the reply , can you please let me know what is the English language requirement for foreign trained nurse to work in USA. I am from India and our medium of instruction in school and college is english ..
Each state is different. Each state also lists requirements so suggest checking state out
thank you once again ..i am very confused as how to keep my license active, my RN license from Vermont BON will expire on 31st march 2015 and since i do not have social security number i could not renew it . I am reaching USA in october and will be getting SS no in october or november, so what happens if i could not renew until then. what does it mean by lapse license. Please enlighten me ...thak you so much

Ask VT BoN if you can place license on inactive status before it expires.
