RN license for California

Published

I applied for my nursing license in California and they cashed my check on July 25th. I set up my breeze account and seen that I needed transcripts from my first nursing degree. I had it overnighted and they received it October 6th. It has been a total of 11 weeks. Does anyone know how much additional time it will take??? I am so exhausted with the whole process☹️ Is there a limit to how long this can take???

Hopefully, it will be soon ...but your failure to send all required transcripts in the beginning may have actually set you way back. 10-12 weeks from the time your application is completed is normal.

Processing Times

Thank you for responding! Do you think I should call the BON? I really hope that it doesn't take much longer.

You can call, but most people who try to call don't get through. People have the most luck showing up in person. Their site even warns of further delays if you contact them before the expected processing times run down. It's almost a threat? And almost funny?

hi, are you an international graduate? if so, based on my experience everytime I submit papers it took one month before I can get answer from them.

Ok thanks again.

No I'm not an international graduate. I am currently license in West Virginia.

I am also waiting on the CA endorsement its like watching paint dry. I am not even showing in breeze yet nor have they cashed my check yet. I feel I cannot apply for a job until they start the app at least.

May I ask how long ago that you applied?
