RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I have some interesting news to report. I just spoke with advisement because I found out that MDC had closed all of the dates to take the NLN exam. When I asked why, advisement stated that there were too many students still trying to take the exam and then applying for Fall. Also, (this is the best part) advisement said that they are not even sure they will continue to use the NLN PAX RN for Spring 2015 applicants. So...needless to say, I am freaking out because they don't know which exam they could possibly change it to. It could go back to the TEAS, or even some other exam.

They didn't give me an idea as to when they will know. All they said was to keep checking the website or calling advisement. It sounds like the results weren't exactly what they expected. As for the TEAS, I don't know if it is more difficult or not. The problem is, until they make a decision, I won't be able to study for that particular exam. I think they are all pretty similar, so I will just continue to study the basics. That's all I can do at this point.

Coco, I decided to take off the entire Summer just to study for this exam. Thanks for the sympathy...I am kinda bummed right now. I just sent advisement an e-mail asking them to keep me abreast of any new requirements. I am tempted to buy the TEAS study guide. MDC !

I feel the same way that Lisel does. I'm happy you let us know. I'm going to worry about fall admission for now before I begin to stress about another admissions period lol.
