RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Andrea don't stress the assignments. They only go over a few systems in the Boot camp. Cardiac, Integumentary, Skeletal and maybe 1 other. If you haven't done those tutorials YOU WILL BE FINE. I promise. Do them if you can, but don't lose sleep.

Thanks. I feel horrible that I'm just now starting to do the tutorials. Classes haven't even started and I'm already procrastinating.

I'm going to look at it as a trivia game just to freshen up.

Which NLN Study Guide? The red one? I have that but used it and did most of the tests in it. I din't think any one would want it like that.

Yes the red one. I didn't write in mine so it was like new. If there are any other textbooks you have laying around or study guides go to amazon trade in and put in the isbn numbers for them and they will let you know how much credit you can get for them. They take highlighted stuff but if it's all written in I would think don't bother.

No. I wouldn't if I were you because you'll probably be the only one. One guy did, but I think he was alone.

Its not a dumb question... but No! We will be on Christmas break. :yes: I believe our last day of school before the holidays will be Dec 12th which will be a clinical day. Merry Christmas :cool:

A little heads up to anyone that bought unis from else where and needs them embroidered. There is a place on 117 ave and sunset drive (SW 72 street) that also does it for $7. They sell the uniforms as well and will put the emblem on for $5 if you buy them there. I believe it's called All Uniforms. I think it's a chain and that are tons of then in Miami.

Has anyone in the bridge program purchased their books yet? If so can you please tell me what books I would need. I went to the online bookstore for Miami Dade and for one class the books came out to almost $500 and they were used. I just don't think we'll need all of those books but I can't figure out which ones we may actually need. I wonder if the professors could send out a syllabus like a month before class starts...so I guess that would be now huh:sorry:
