I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.
Andrea don't know the reason why you financial aid got suspended. I had to do an appeal bc I have a lot of credits and no degree yet. I'm still taking prerequisites and paying classes on my own. I appealed 3 times and got denied 3 times. Don't know your case, but do a nice letter, stating that you need the aid, at medical campus must people got lucky and financial aid is reinstated, i appealed at interamerican campus, and even spoke with the dean, but no success
I'm not sure if I should buy all the books or rent them.
I've rented some textbooks for other courses but just for classes like art. But kept anatomy and physiology, and biology...
I've always imagined keeping the most important college textbooks. My mother has a bookshelf with some of her old college textbooks.
I think the bookstore offers packages of the textbooks.
Does anyone know which books the package contains and how much it is?
Has anyone had to write a letter for reinstatement of financial aid?I have to write one and not sure how to go about it.
Help?
I had to write a letter as well for reinstatement of financial aid. I was denied the first time at the Kendall campus back in 2012. I paid out of pocket for my science pre-reqs since I already had the other courses before I switched my major to nursing. I submitted my letter last week and I included a letter from my previous employer as well as a letter of recommendation from a former professor. I'm praying that it gets approved. If not it looks like I'll have pay for the entire program on my own.

So most people get their financial aid reinstated at the medical campus?

Shell83 I'm currently doing what you did. I haven't applied to the program yet, but once accepted to medical campus we have to do the process again, I've heard they have more consideration with the students. Anyways, I'm saving money just in case. Let me know the final answer. Thank you and good luck.
