RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

When did you have the FT Homestead orientation? Was it for Fulltime generic? I still have not received the email for MDC...so im assuming that I did not get accepted....Thank you!!

Hey, yes it was for full time generic at homestead. I would call to make sure they are done sending out acceptances. Don't give up!!

They ran out of the book we need for bootcamp :(

I just got it on Amazon for $18. I have Amazon Prime which gives me free 2nd day shipping. It arrives today. So I just finished submitting all my paperwork to the nursing department and I couldn't be happier!! Went to the book store to buy the book for boot camp and was sold out :( so I'll have to wait. Nurse24112b I'm buying my scrubs from the bookstore, I figured minus well so I don't later have to worry that they're not the right ones lol.

Don't get books from MDC unless you need it that day. You'll end up paying twice as much. I've even rented textbooks from Amazon for next to nothing. The Intro to Healthcare book for example I rented for $18 for 4 months. At MDC it was like $70 new.

Glad I could help. I got lucky and found a used one that qualified for Prime shipping. But I think they have it for like $20 used and $36 new.

No lol i'm waiting for mine that i got online is the same brand as the school so i will check with one's at the school to see if there a big different if not i'm keeping it
