RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Wow, that really changes everything. Because what if the book store runs out if the uniforms we need. Crazy. Ok so the scrubs need to be bought from school, anything else we should look out for? Thanks for the info girls

I went to the orientation today.

Dr. Valerie Browne was adamant about us getting the scrubs from the MDC bookstore. Apparently this time around they plan to be more strict with uniform policy. She even said that you might be sent home from clinical/class if you're not wearing the proper uniform (same color, shape, white shoes/socks/undershirt) possible even not allowed to take an exam. Not sure if that was some horrible joke but I bought 1 white clinical top and 1 hunter green class top. I might take the risk and buy the pants somewhere else.

Is anyone having trouble signing up for classes?

This might sound silly but snap a picture of the tag from the scrub shirt you got from the store.... Sometimes it'll have an item number or the brand name of where the school gets the shirt would help as well ?

lol I forgot her name. She really did stress the whole uniform issue. I'm just going to spend the extra bucks.

At least at the store where i got my scrubs im not able to return anything i put the logo on, so i will keep mine

Why don't you girls that already got scrubs take them to your orientation and get them approved.

It might not be the case for homestead but the Medical campus might be a different story. I doubt she would stress the topic so much only to be bluffing. Anyway we're all adults and ultimately we'll make the best decision that fits our individual needs
