RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

How do you study for the math and Science?

Math is my strong point in all this - so i didn't really focus on it, however i did go over the actual practice exam ( reviewed mostly percentages, division and refreshed my memory with geometry). For the science, just went over the book and while going over book i was on YouTube ( to visualize what im learning, its sticks better this way for me). as far as physics... same thing...just going over that section over and over... definitely learned the laws on YouTube a visual learner..so understanding it by looking at it makes me put it all into writing.

That's good to hear, I've been doing the same thing as well but as for me math is my weakest so I am going hard on it and science I have not taken in 4 years. So I am doing a lot of reading on the science making sure I grasp everything. I will be ready by my test date though I have no choice. Did you already put in your application yet or r you waiting to take the test first? Did you have to take HCS 0001 if you did how was it?

hey guys, for those of you that did your financial aid already was there anything else besides fasfa that we have to do? When i did the fasfa i applied for the medical campus, i think that's it right?

I put miami dade medical and i have problem with it because i and aa and they that i already did the 90 credits blabla .that in order to get the help i have to fill out some papers requesting something... i will be doing this tomorrow so i let you know in details what it is

Id wear sweats and a tee shirt & bring a jacket/sweater always!!! Make sure you have a good rest & good breakfast tomorrow am :-). Good luck...cant wait to hear all about it... ps: retain any info u can...maybe details on eye diagram and a biy of the physics lol... or if heart diagram is included as well.
