Hi Everyone!! I am a new grad ADN who is looking into Online RN to BSN programs. I have been considering the online RN to BSN through UTA. I just wanted to know if everyone is enjoying the program. What are the clinical requirements? I am in California and wanted some info on how smooth the program is etc. So far I have looked into WGU and Cal State San Marcos.
Thanks!!
Hello All!!!
I'm starting the online RN-BSN this Fall!!!
How is it so far??
Any advise on Nursing 3345????
I have history 1and 2
Upper nursing elective
And the remaining nursing courses...
I'm in no rush but I've never taken 1 class in 5 weeks. This format will be new for me.
Any advice or input would help.
Thanks
Hi leacalifornia, have you thought about the RN-MSN program offered at UTA? I was wondering if you've heard of anyone who started with the RN-BSN program at UTA then while completing it decided to the RN-MSN route? Is it possible to "switch" half way through?
They will not let you switch half way thru. I tried. I was a 4.0 student and still no luck. Got everybody on the phone I could to no avail. You can leave the program for 3 semesters and then re-apply to the RN to MSN program.

I too will be graduating in May, 2016! When I was looking into the various online RN-BSN programs, WGU was one of my choices because of its flat rate cost. I decided against WGU because of its lack of a letter grading system. If you decide to obtain a MSN elsewhere, it may limit your choices of universities.
I opted for UTA and have had no regrets. I work full time. I have taken 1-2 classes at a time with some down time between courses. It will take a total of 3 years for me, but it went fast and i have thoroughly enjoyed it. I am currently deciding which MSN program I will do.
