I'll be graduating this May from an ADN school. I plan on working for a year before I go back to school for my BSN (I need a break!) I was wondering if anyone knew of any good RN-BSN programs in Georgia. How long did it take you to get through and were the classes hard? My professors always tell us that we've gotten through the hard part and that earning a BSN isn't quite as difficult and stressful. What do/did you think.

Hi,
I am graduating from RN-BSN at Clayton State University this May and I am very happy with their program. I would recommend it to everyone. I live on north side and although it is quite a drive, it is worth it.
Once you are accepted into the program it is only 3 semesters and all classes are partially online. I did it ft, but there were many RNs who pursued it pt. I had all of the prerequisites completed before I enrolled, so I cannot tell you how long it will take you.
The best thing to do is to make an appointment with one of the advisors to discuss what you need. Christy Hicks is the best in School of Health Sciences. She is very knowledgable and will do everything to help out.
Best wishes

Macon State College now also has an RN to BSN program. I got my ASN there, and thought the instructors were great. I needed to take some time off before persuing my BSN, but I do plan on continuing, and it will more than likely be through MSC.

Ga Sourthern in Statesboro has a great progam- this was my first semester and I really enjoyed it. Pretty much everything is online but you do have to go to campus for your final and a presentation.Check it out
