RN-BSN ..... question on "terms" and graduating

so if you take longer than six months to finish, and have to roll over into a second term, you pay for the whole second term ($3300+), right? Even if you only have a couple of credits left, you still pay for the whole term? Do you still get to "graduate" immediately upon finishing or do you have to wait until the end of the current 6-month term to be considered a BSN graduate and start moving on with MSN applications, etc? Finishing in 6 months or less would be great, but I would be okay with even 7 or 8 months if that is what it took. Mainly curious about having to wait til the end of the term to graduate or if graduation is immediate upon finishing the course work. thanks

You graduate when you finish and you WILL get a prorated amount of $$$ back depending on the date you finish!!! Thats one of the things that is so great about WGU!

makes sense, thanks so much! I am really looking to do FNP eventually, and am even applying to some programs for a RN to MSN/FNP bridge since I already have a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field. However, I am considering WGU as my backup plan for the fall if I didn't get into an FNP program. Instead of waiting around all fall, I could possibly knock out the BSN and open up more options for future FNP programs, or at least shorten the length of an FNP program once I'm in (instead of bridging all the way from RN).

I'd read that you pay $217/credit hour if you have less than 12 credits at the end of your term. It didn't say that they bill you for the whole term (3250) and then reimburse you. That wouldn't really make sense if you only have a few credits to finish. I'd ask about it if you're going to be in that position.
