RN to BSN Program

Published

I haven't been able to find a section on it. It's considered undergrad. Am I totally missing the forum? I just want to make sure I'm posting stuff in the correct area.

Anyways, I've been accepted into the program at East Carolina University starting in the Spring. I can't wait! :yeah:

Specializes in just about everything.

I just applied at Kaplan online, it is a little less than some of the other schools like uop.tart dec 3,08 and my entrnace fee was $45. I can get done in 1 year. I am looking forwarded to it. I started a couple yrs ago at uop, and you had to get online at a certain time to do team projects. I worked 12 hr shifts and was not able to always go online at the time. kaplan is different. I thinK i'm going to like it. the admission counselor gave me all the information right up front.

Good luck to all of you.

Specializes in Pediatric/Adolescent, Med-Surg.

Hey. I just got my acceptance letter to Chatham's University's RN-BSN program. I'm going to start in Jan as a full-time student. I'm really excited, I can't wait! :nurse:

Congrats! Are you also going to work full time? Wow! I'm impressed!

Yeah, I have to work full-time to pay off my schooling (you know, my work agreement). I don't think it'll be to bad, as I worked full-time and went to school full-time for most of Shadyside.

You will have to let me know how it goes for you. Are you doing the classes online, or do you have to go to Chatham? I plan on moving straight into the BSN program as soon as I graduate from Shadyside, so I'll be in the same situation as you.

It's all on-line. Three of the classes have a small clinical component (I don't know much about that yet, except you get to pick your sites). I'm looking forward to findingn out more of what I have to look forward too.

Well, good luck with it! You'll have to keep me posted on what the program is like. I guess I'd better just concentrate on getting through the next two years at Shadyside before I think about the BSN program....lol.
