I'm just starting to look into RN-BSN programs, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Ohio University's Online program? I'd like to know the good, bad, and the ugly about the program and the instructors. When problems arise are they dealt with quickly and easily? I work 3-12's on straight nights in a very busy CVICU at a major medical center in Ohio.
Do they accept Fortis college credits for RN-BSN program??
I applied like a month ago, and still havent heard from OU. they sent me an email that I got accepted. But will I get anything from the mail, listing the classes I need to take? Pls respond. Thanks in advance.
Carlo_flash, did you accept your admission on OUs website? You have to accept or deny the admission offer. Any one that has started in the last 6 months or so, how long did it take to receive your DARs?
Your student advisor should have done a DAR for you it tells you what you still need to complete in order to be awarded your BSN. Login to your portal, go under academics click the green DARS* tab on the left hand-side, then use your same login and view your audit. It gives you more detail as to what you need to still take. I emailed my advisor who actually gave me a few different classes to pic from rather the larger list on the DAR.
I received my DARs a month after I was accepted.
Yeaaa my DAR is not available yet. Its not a month since I got accepted. For some reason, it says I have no advisor yet. Should I call them for it?
When is your start date? If it is 11/3 I would definitely call them. If you start winter semester they may just started working on those students.
Supposedly not til January is my start date. On the student center, it says my application is complete. It doesn't say admitted. I remember accepting the acceptance weeks ago though. But my DAR is not available for access.
It will be a month this friday 10/24 since I got accepted.
Mine also says complete with a green circle, it is my understanding that means I have officially accepted. I read on OUs website that they said DARs should be around a month after acceptance ( I was accepted 9/26 for the Jan. start date). I do not have an assigned advisor, I figured they were squaring away everything for the term of students that started last and we will be next. If my information is not in by the 1st, I am going to email to see if I can get a time line for my DARs and when I will be able to enroll. Let me know if you get your DAR soon or hear anything and I will do the same.
I still have not received my DAR. Have you?

Just curious to ask those that have been attending OU: do you feel the grading is fair? I have a 3.9, and would like to be able to keep a high grade point average. Not looking to pay for A's, but also not interested in going above and beyond just to get a high B. Any feedback?
