Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any RN-BSN programs that accept students before obtaining RN Licensure with a stipulation that the student will be licensed prior to the start of class. I'll graduate in May 2012 but would like to start a RN-BSN degree program in Fall 2012. I probably won't be able to be licensed until either the end of May or early June at the earliest. I've found that the deadline for a fall atriculation is Feb-April of that year but I'm not sure if I have to actually be licensed by the application deadline or by the start of class. Any advice or suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks :-)

UMKC in Missouri. I had to send them proof of licensure before I could enroll, but I was conditionally accepted prior to that.

I'd think that as Aurora77 indicates, you may be able to apply (and get accepted) prior to getting your RN but not enroll until you've actually passed the boards. I think that's the case for the program I'm in at Ohio U but don't know for sure.
Find an RN-BSN program that you're interested in and contact them with your question.

I was accepted and enrolled at UMass Amherst's RN-BSN online program by the beginning of April of this year. I graduated in June, and took NCLEX the 3rd week of June. My classes started the day after graduation. One thing to keep in mind is the completion of prerequisites. I believe one reason I was accepted without my license was because I happened to have all of my prerequisites completed. However, there was the condition that I had to receive my license by the start of fall classes. So you really need to make sure you get an early NCLEX date and pass the first time!
