Hey guys,

I am currently finishing up my second to last semester in an ASN Program. I received a Bachelors degree one year ago in a Health Science concentration. I am wondering... Would it make more sense to do an Accelerated Bachelors of Nursing program or to do the RN to BSN program? I don't really have a good advisor in my program to whom I can ask..

I would love to hear back if any one has any answers.

Thanks, God Bless!,

RN to BSN. ABSN is for people without nursing degrees but other bachelor degrees

Since you already have the other bachelor's you likely will only need the nursing classes

Would one route be quicker? I also have a few BSN credits from my other bachelors degree.

If you are already in a ASN program that leads to being a RN then there is no point in even considering the accelerated BSN. Once you get your RN license you should be looking at RN-BSN programs.
