Hi there
i am just new with this forum.
i am looking for advice. I am a rmn and am very interested in working as a staff nurse in the hospice. I have been told that I can't get a post as a staff nurse as I am not general trained however have been accepted on the bank as an rmn as I would work along side a rgn.
i am also applying for health assistants post with marie curie to gain experience.i am doing my counselling skills at uni at the moment, and am unsure wether to pursue this or not and go for the palliative care route.i did do my palliative care training in August with the hospice.
any information or advice would be very welcome, thanks.

If this is the area you want to do can you not look at bridging to RN and be dual trained RN and RMN?

HI Silverdragon. Do you know pf any institutions that offers said training, taking into account your rmn training and have your studies time reduced?
