Riverside School of Nursing-2018

Published

Hi! Is anyone else planning on applying to Riverside's evening/weekend program that starts in July?

How did it go?

I reached out to the school and she said we should know about 4 weeks after the deadline (maybe sooner) and she mentioned that they no longer do interviews.

So.... we should just be waiting for a call

I got an 87. I hope that's good enough especially if they aren't doing interviews any more. I wonder why they stopped doing them and now I'm kind of nervous. Yesterday, I finally met my neighbor that is currently in the program, and she had nothing but good things to say. She graduates in June and has already been hired at Riverside. I was really excited by the end of our talk because it sounds much different from my last nursing program.

I have no idea how to tag on here but mbtsab how did it go yesterday?

Thats awesome!

I am considering retaking my TEAS exam next week. I am going to make up my mind over the weekend.

Hey guys! I rescheduled to this coming Thursday 4/5. You have a great score, 87!!!! I wouldn't think of any reason why you wouldn't get in. I know that they say you have to make at least a 64%, but the recruiter told me to aim for 80, so I know your good! I will touch back after the teas next week:):)

ok, so I did not get the score I would of liked to of gotten, 68%...I hope that's enough with my grades....I'm soo bummed

I know they were allowing people to retake the test, so maybe you can do that. I was talking to someone else that is taking their test on the 12th.

I don't think I want to spend another 58 and chance a lower score lol.....when do you think they'll let people know?

Yeah I understand not wanting to take it again. On their FB page they said it would take about a month for them to decide after everyone has taken the test. Hopefully the April 12th group is the last group that's testing.

Ughhh....someone I was talking to said she's taking her test on the 19th! If it takes them a month to decide that doesn't leave much time to get all the required stuff completed and turned in.

I wonder how may applicants there are this time around....when I was testing there were like 20 other people, most were testing for practical nursing program though.

I'm hoping we hear something the first week in may. I might call them Monday and ask when we should get letters/calls

There were about 20 people in my group too. If you call, please post what you find out.

Ok, the person I spoke to clarified that she is applying for the day program which is why her test date is so late. Hopefully we'll find out this month.
