Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated! :up:

Yes, I actually tested and interviewed the 2nd week of July.

The interview went well, I think. I got a 75 on my Teas. I guess time will tell.

I am taking sociology, med term and nutrition and a couple other classes to have out of the way to bridge from RN to BSN. Im at the TCC va beach.

Hi Ladies!

I also applied for Riverside's January 2014 RN Program. I emailed them yesterday asking if the deadline extension would affect when we get decision letters, haven't heard anything yet. During my interview I was told they would have decision letters sent out at the end of September. Fingers crossed (:

Yeah, I'm starting to get pretty anxious. I don't know about you guys but I was pretty shocked to hear about the deadline extension...wondering if that makes our chances better...

I'm in the same boat, I've spent about 3 years on mine. Did you apply to any other nursing programs?
