Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Oooh exciting! I can't wait to order my uniform, think I'll do that at orientation.

They aren't cute. Haha

Lol.

There is a printer user agreement on MOODLE that we have to print off and bring to orientation. Just giving you gals a heads up :).

I just saw that email!

We got another thing in our email as well

Yeah, I just checked it. Thanks :)

Wow... Thats really encouraging.. I have been studing for the teas I took the book practice test score 89 and 90s but when I take the online test I scored much lower.. the first time I took it was mid 60's then the second time was in the 70s. I have been focusing on my weak areas. In your experience is the online teas practice test as hard as the actual teas. I really want to get into Riverside on my first attempt. I'm really nervous about taking the exam...

Most people say the online test was harder than the actual test, although I didn't take either of those. I just took the practice tests in the manual. Good luck! I'll pray for you :)

Orientation is tomorrow!!

I'm so excited/anxious that I can't sleep :-/

I didn't go to sleep till late either! I'm early, but I made it there :)

Fill me in if you can :) I won't be there!

Well my brain feels really full right now. But the thing that I noticed they emphasized a lot is that all of the faculty is there to help and want us to succeed. We got our schedules!
