Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

U.S.A. Virginia

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

It is just 1 day, a few hrs

I ended up signing up for a CPR class at evms for this upcoming Saturday the 6th! So what I plan on doing is having my financial aid meeting on the 8th and turning in my deposit and other stuff that day as well

I'm still on cloud 9! :-D I e-mailed the financial aid counselor Friday night, although I know she won't see it until tomorrow. I hope she'll be in the office and available on Wednesday! Either way, I'll be turning in my deposit and such on the 3rd.

This is so exciting! I can't wait to meet everyone and get uniforms, books and supplies. You probably saw, but I got put on the first tier of the wait list at Sentara. I hope I'm far enough down that I won't get chosen haha

Yes congrats, that is still a great accomplishment as fierce as their competition was! Or if you get chosen once school starts that is another excuse. Haha! I'm pumped about meeting everyone, going school shopping and being back in the classroom!

Ahhhh me too! How are your classes going this summer?

Going well I have an A in both. I just started Micro, and psych will be finished in a couple of weeks. How is med term going?

Dang how long is your micro class? Must be hard! It's going well :) I have an A so far

I couldn't get into an online class so I had to take micro through Portage Learning. The good thing with them is I can take it at my own pace.

Ohhhhh that's cool!

I went to Busch gardens today and passed the riverside doctors hospital! It looks so neat

Yes, it looks so nice!
