Yes I have applied also...wow your points are very high going into the teas....my overall points are 65 and that includes the teas score...I didn't get in last semester...this is my second time applying...I will keep on applying until I get in...I'm not a bad student. Just had a lot going on and couldn't make the grades and teas scores that I desired...we shall see. It's in God's hands.
they told me 75 was still cool. I got a book list and most can be had as E text either through kindle or VitalSource. I priced them out at 560 dollars. It's going to be a lot of saving. It will feel nice when financial aid kicks in but that usually too late. I heard we have to read 8 chapters in the first week.
Hey guys! I'm a current student at RCC! I'm gonna submit my application tonight! Currently I'm at 70 points. I'm doing a CNA program right now, So if they can schedule me to take the state exam I should be done in time for them to give me those 5 points, which will leave me at 75pts. I talked to them, and said 75 pts have been the cut-off. What messed me up was the TEAS. I scored 71 first time, so I'm locked in with that score. Some advice really study the science section! It is really difficult!! But other than that good luck, and hopefully we all get in : )
@ BigNurse2014 I'm doing the CNA thing, because scoring low on the teas killed my points! Overall it's a good experience, getting patient contact and what not. But I figured I can have some sort of income during nursing school! After your first semester of nursing school, you can actually apply to take the state exam to become a cna, If you wanna do that in the mean time : )

Hi, I'm Ian and I've just applied to RCC's RN program for Spring of 2014. I thought I would start a thread about getting in, the TEAS at RCC, and last but not least encouragement for those trying to get in.
I'm at 50 pts. but I haven't taken the TEAS. I am waiting to be invited to take it at RCC.
