I was wondering how the grading system works, since we need to get at least 75 to pass the class. Is it like 75-85 is a C, 85-95 is a B, and 95-100 is an A?
I think so... And, if you get below that then you don't pass

I hope it's more like 75-80 is a C, 80-90 is a B, and 90-100 is an A. :)
Me too!!!

It was just a lot of info on how to study, critical thinking, organization, stressing out, how not to fail... Just stuff like that... It was just a good workshop to attend to help give an understanding of what's ahead of us, but you didn't miss anything huge...
Okay great things!

Have any of you watched the video we are supposed to watch? I can't find it anywhere.
Do you mean the Taylor videos? I could not find them either. I tried the CD's that came with the books, but they are not on there either. Btw. the Taylor CD's only work on a PC but not on a Mac. I just will wait until tomorrow, for sure they will explain how and from where we get all the materials.
Yeah the Taylor ones. I looked on the discs too and didn't see them. I just registered all of my books this morning too. I am ready to go! :)

Hi every one! I received an email from -------------- friday afternoon and apparently I am now an alternate and I was asked to attend the first class tomorrow at the landis aditorium. I am so excited but I have no clue what to make out of this? Lol I feel kind of lost since most of you already have your back ground checks, physicals, and all that other stuff done. I have a lot of catching up to do i guess...yikes! Does any one know if tomorrow is actual class or just more info?
I am so happy for you!! I hope you get in! Just take a breath and take it one step at a time :) tomorrow is a welcome ceremony, orientation, and then clinical skills lab on hygiene and stuff of that sort.
Thank you so much! Is there anything that I should take with me? Or a certain dress code? He sent me the email literally a few minutes before they leave the office so I didn't get a chance to ask any questions. He didn't give much info to me either. How did you know for certain whether you were still considered alternate or not?
I think they will tell you, but I am not sure. They said to wear regular clothes all week this week. Im just taking a binder and a backpack for the welcome ceremony and orientation but I will have all of my books and rolling backpack with me in the car.
