Just submitted my application for fall 2014 at RCC!! Waiting on receipt confirmation!

no problem. I just want you guys to make an informed decision!!

Hey there. Have you taken the TEAS? Forgive me if I'm not going back and reading every thread here...

Hi. Yes I have taken the TEAS and the Hesi A2.

Did you also apply to RCC?

Was the Hesi easier, as I've heard? How did you do on the TEAS?

Hey there. Did you take the 2nd Online Practice Test yet? I just took it. I didn't like it!! I don't think my head was in the right place today to focus.

I did better on the 1st one BEFORE I even studied ANY material!!!

I took practice test B and found it harder than A,especially in the math section...ahhh I hope the real test is easier... some of the questions on the practice test are just dumb... like in the English section they expect us to know past perfect present perfect progressive blah blah.... lol i have a feeling Reading and English.. (and math if its anything like practice exam b) are going to kill me... which is 3/4 of the subjects haha so im screwed :dead:

Well I feel a little better now knowing that I wasn't the only one who thought it was harder. Did you do good on the Science section? As for the math, it's really just a matter of reading each question carefully to figure out what they want. Some of the math problems were a little out there though. They were more like logical reasoning using math rather then straight up math problems.

I got 85% in the science section ...the scientific reasoning questions get me every time lol other than that I find that section to not be so hard ... ur right the math was more logical reasoning which blows

I have a feeling the actual test is easier because that test was pretty hard and 75% of the questions they ask were not even taught in the study manual ....and I know because I've read the study manual like 4 times lol

I almost regret buying the test all it did was depress me lol :nailbiting:

Yeeahh... I got a little depressed yesterday after taking the 2nd test. Hopefully that was an extreme version of what to expect. Needless to say, it's Friday night and I'm studying!!

I did ok on the Teas and I did much better on the HESI. The HESI is much easier.

Yes, I applied to 6 schools. I hope I can get into RCC but my teas was not the best so I am hoping to get into Cerritos or Mt. Sac. Mt. Sac uses the HESI. I have an appointment with Mt. Sac's counselor to verify my transcripts and points. I have passed the initial part of the screening and next is to find out what semester I will start in. I have been approved by admissions and on the wait list for ELAC but their NCLEX rates are not good. COD will give us an answer in May/June. Pasadena city college I will find out in a couple of weeks. So at this point I am waiting and it's crazy!!!!!!

What was your TEAS score, if you don't mind me asking. Also, did you do any of the TEAS practice tests, and if so, how did those scores compare with your actual score? I'm all over the board here with different practice tests. Just when I think I've got it under control, another practice tests humbles me again. This is driving me crazy!!!

It was in the 70's . I just worked out of ati book.
