Riverside Community College fall 2014

Published

Just submitted my application for fall 2014 at RCC!! Waiting on receipt confirmation!

They only accept the first passing score no matter where you take the test :)

@dreambuilder you got 89 in both those classes and the teachers would not make it an A ??? What total d bags ...excuse my language but that's just mean of the teacher lol especially if you had family circumstances ....

Trust me.. I pleaded with them!!! One professor, who I will leave nameless, did not like guys. I knew there was not chance of her pushing me over the edge even thought there were only 2 other A's in the class. The Micro.. well.. I thought she might.. but it didn't happen. It sucks to be sooo close and yet sooooooo far. I would have been happier with 80%'s so I didn't have to go through the torture of being soooo close!!!

How do they know though if it's your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd passing score? I mean, you have to turn the score in to the school. It's not like they pull it from ATI.. right??

I think it says on the transcript how many attempts you have taken it ...I've seen a transcript before n it says on the paper attempt 1 .... So unless people change there names each time it will show how many attempts on each transcript

Yikes I need to brush up on my grammar ...I'm used to slang lol

It wouldn't be a problem if it just said the attempt number because you could just say that you failed the 1st time. lol But if it has the 1st attempt with the 1st attempt score, then you'd be SOL.

I screwed myself in my sciences. 2 B's and 1 A.

Would you believe that in Anatomy 2A I got a 89.35, and in Micro I got an 89.1. :crying2:

I had a major family issue the weekend before the Anatomy final, and I had another crazy issue right before a Micro test. So anyways, I need at least 30... but I'll be pushing for the 35 pts. I have officially sealed myself off from the world, and it's all about studying for the next 4 weeks.

That sucks that your professor just didn't give you an A... So unfair!!!

I'm sure you will do great on the TEAS!!! Fingers crossed for you! :)

I sent my score in February but I haven't gotten an invite for it.

Hmmmm, I'm gonna double check with them tomorrow and make sure they got my transcripts! ;/

Hmm interesting lol

If that's the case I'm going to take it until I get 100 !!! Haha

Well.. just rock the 1st time and then you don't have to worry about anything!!!

Oh jeez this is making me nervous i have two A's and a B but I havent been invited yet. I have also excluded myself from everyone just to study but i feel like it will never be enough lol. I want this month to be over fast as i have my test scheduled for the 25th!! I wish i was naturally smart haha im on the same boat...good luck to everyone who hopes to get invited! I need opinions... I currently have 50 points, so if i were to score between 74 to 81 on the teas i would have a total of 75. If i score 82 to 89 my total would be at 80 and if i can manage to get an A on the teas, which i highly doubt lol i would have a total of 85. Sooo my dilemma is this, if i just get a total of 75 points should i turn in that score or just wait till next semester to reapply with what i hope will be a better score? I need advice to prepare myself in case i dont get such a good score like im hoping for!
They only accept one passing score ... If you get a 62 that is the score RCC will use every application .... Also 90-100 is 35 pts and 78-89 is 30 pts :) So if you get at least a 78 on the test you will have 80 pts!! Which will most likely get you accepted :)

Really? I guess I had the range on the teas all wrong!! I have the pink rubric and its rubric is exactly like i posted on the previous message! Wth?! Lol i need to look for the updated info!!

Oh and I had gone to one of the nursing workshops and my understanding is that we can take the teas outside of rcc as many times as we want and then turn in the score we please. If taken at rcc the first passing score will be accepted.
