Riverside City College: Spring 2017

Greetings all future RN students. I just wanted to start a thread for any potential applicants who will be applying to riverside city college RN program this September for Spring 2017. Let's all get together on this thread and share experiences as well as answer questions. I know the application period is 6 months away, but it will be here before you know it! :yes:

And it's changing again... someone is telling people that if you get on the alternate list your automatically in for the next semester

On the current alternate list or the one for next semester?

Got an email from Mr. Purdy that started out with "We are so excited for your acceptance into the RCC School of Nursing! How wonderful it is to be associated with a school of nursing that is so well-known for the excellence of our graduates and faculty. I know you must be bursting with pride and uncertainty for what is to come." After some clarification it seems I was sent the wrong email and am still on the alternate list :cry:

It was to RSVP for bootcamp. Still waiting on THE email.

I emailed back to clarify and he said I'm still an alternate

I'm so confused because he just sent disregard the first one and now sent me the one with the congratulations..... good god lol

I got the "disregard this message" first too, lol. I just skimmed it and read the last one first, which was the correct one.

Why tell us they'll notify alternates this week if they weren't going to do so? So frustrating; just don't say anything if you don't know when you are going to send out the emails.
